Our approach

We use the smallest possible set of browser storage, all in service of the product working:

Strictly necessary cookies

• tq_session — keeps you signed in. HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, Secure in production. Without it the app cannot remember your login.
• Security-related rate-limit identifiers derived from IP are stored server-side only, briefly, to prevent abuse.

Local storage (on your device only)

• tq-theme — remembers whether you chose light/dark/system appearance.
• Offline lesson shell caching used by the Progressive Web App so recently viewed lessons open without a connection.

What we don’t use

• No third-party advertising cookies.
• No cross-site trackers or social pixels.
• No fingerprinting scripts.

Managing storage

You can clear site data any time in your browser settings; you’ll simply be signed out and your theme preference reset. Because we don’t run advertising trackers, there is no consent banner to accept — only essential storage is used. If that ever changes, we’ll ask first and update this page.
